Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SaveKarr, a brand owned and operated by Shree Origin Ventures ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Marketplace Terms, Community Guidelines, and all policies referenced herein.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use SaveKarr.

2. What SaveKarr is — and is not

SaveKarr is an independent marketplace and coordination platform that enables users to coordinate lawful cost-sharing, shared access, unused value exchange, and participation in eligible family, household, multi-member, or team-based plans offered by third-party providers.

SaveKarr connects:

  • hosts, who may have unused capacity on eligible plans; and
  • members, who may wish to participate in such plans.

SaveKarr is not:

  • a reseller, distributor, sublicensee, or licensee of any third-party service;
  • endorsed by, affiliated with, authorised by, or officially connected to any third-party provider listed on the platform;
  • a bank, NBFC, credit institution, or lender;
  • a stockbroker, investment adviser, or research analyst;
  • an escrow agent, payment system operator, or financial guarantor;
  • responsible for the quality, legality, availability, or continuity of third-party services coordinated through the platform.

All listings, descriptions, pricing, representations, and plan details are created and managed by independent users, not by SaveKarr.

3. Third-party trademarks & brand references

All third-party trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and brand references displayed or mentioned on SaveKarr belong to their respective owners.

Such references are used solely for identification, informational, compatibility, categorisation, or descriptive purposes and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, partnership, or approval by the respective brand owners.

SaveKarr does not claim ownership over any third-party trademarks referenced by users or displayed for informational purposes.

4. Intermediary status & safe harbour

SaveKarr operates as an intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and complies with the due-diligence obligations under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

SaveKarr:

  • does not initiate transmissions;
  • does not select receivers of listings;
  • does not modify user-generated listings;
  • does not exercise editorial control over user content except for moderation, compliance, safety, fraud prevention, and enforcement of these Terms.

In compliance with applicable law, SaveKarr may remove or disable access to unlawful content upon receiving:

  • a valid court order;
  • government direction; or
  • a legally sufficient complaint.

SaveKarr reserves the right to suspend, restrict, moderate, or remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. E-Commerce entity disclosures

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:

SaveKarr does not store complete payment-card details and does not operate as a regulated escrow institution.

6. Eligibility & accounts

By using SaveKarr, you represent that:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you are legally capable of entering binding contracts under applicable law;
  • the information you provide is accurate and current.

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining password confidentiality;
  • all activity conducted through their account;
  • ensuring lawful use of the platform.

Multiple accounts created to evade suspensions, abuse promotions, manipulate trust systems, or circumvent restrictions may result in permanent suspension.

You may close your account at any time through account settings.

7. User responsibility & provider compliance

Hosts and members are solely responsible for ensuring that their participation in any listing complies with:

  • the underlying provider's Terms of Service;
  • household eligibility rules;
  • family/team plan policies;
  • regional restrictions;
  • transferability limitations; and
  • all applicable laws.

SaveKarr does not independently verify whether a specific provider permits a particular type of sharing arrangement.

Users participate at their own discretion and legal responsibility.

Contact Information Sharing. SaveKarr provides a monitored secure channel for all host–member communication. Any personal contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles) shared voluntarily by users within or outside the secure channel is shared entirely at the user's own risk and discretion. SaveKarr is not responsible for any consequences arising from voluntary sharing of personal contact details between users.

Off-Platform Transactions. Any communication, transaction, or exchange conducted outside SaveKarr's platform removes all buyer and seller protections provided by SaveKarr including dispute mediation, fund protection, and fraud prevention. SaveKarr bears no liability for transactions or communications conducted outside the platform.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SaveKarr to:

  • list or distribute pirated, hacked, stolen, cracked, or unauthorised accounts;
  • share credentials obtained unlawfully;
  • list services whose terms strictly prohibit the activity being offered;
  • sell OTPs, authentication tokens, recovery codes, or banking credentials;
  • engage in phishing, fraud, impersonation, or deceptive conduct;
  • scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt platform systems;
  • bypass platform fees through off-platform transactions;
  • harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against users;
  • upload malicious software or harmful code;
  • violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights.

Only legally transferable and lawfully obtained gift cards, vouchers, memberships, or credits may be listed where permitted by law and issuer policies.

SaveKarr may investigate and remove listings or accounts suspected of violating these Terms.

8A. Platform Safety

Privacy Shield. SaveKarr's Privacy Shield system automatically monitors the secure channel for personal contact information and flags potential privacy risks. While SaveKarr takes reasonable measures to protect user privacy, users who voluntarily choose to share personal contact details do so at their own risk. SaveKarr strongly recommends all users keep all communication within the SaveKarr secure channel.

9. Payments, fees & taxes

SaveKarr may charge:

  • platform commissions;
  • listing fees;
  • premium subscriptions;
  • promotional fees; or
  • optional paid services.

Applicable fees will be disclosed before payment confirmation.

Payments are processed through third-party providers such as Razorpay. SaveKarr does not store full card information.

Users are individually responsible for:

  • taxes;
  • GST obligations;
  • invoicing obligations; and
  • regulatory compliance applicable to their activities.

10. Payouts

Where applicable, payouts to hosts may be processed automatically through integrated payment providers.

SaveKarr reserves the right to:

  • delay payouts for fraud review;
  • reverse disputed settlements where legally permitted;
  • suspend payouts linked to suspicious activity.

SaveKarr is not liable for delays caused by banking systems, payment processors, compliance checks, or third-party failures.

10A. Marketplace Categories and Listing Rules

SaveKarr facilitates shared access across six categories: Digital & Subscriptions, Memberships & Access, Group & Community Buys, Equipment & Gear Rental, Gift Cards & Vouchers, and Services & Experiences.

Equipment & Gear Rental: The lister confirms they own or have the right to rent the listed item. The renter agrees to return the item in the condition received. Security deposits are held by SaveKarr and released after the owner confirms return. SaveKarr is not liable for damage or loss beyond the security deposit amount.

Group & Community Buys: The organiser confirms they will fulfil the order if the minimum group size is reached. If the minimum is not reached by the stated deadline, all participant payments are refunded via Razorpay. SaveKarr is not liable for third-party vendor delays or failures.

Services & Experiences: The provider confirms they have the capacity to deliver the listed service. Payment is held until the member confirms delivery. Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of the scheduled service date.

For all categories: SaveKarr is a coordination platform. We are not a party to any transaction, rental agreement, or service contract. The underlying terms of the original product or service provider always apply.

10B. Security Deposits

For Equipment & Gear Rental listings, the lister may set a security deposit. This is collected from the renter at booking and held separately from the rental fee. Released to renter after lister confirms safe return. If a damage dispute is raised, SaveKarr's Trust & Safety team mediates with evidence. SaveKarr does not profit from security deposits.

10C. Group Buy Protection

For Group & Community Buy listings, all participant payments are held until the minimum group size is confirmed. If not reached by the deadline, all payments are refunded automatically within 5–7 business days. The 5% platform fee applies only on successful, fully-funded group buys.

10D. Category-Specific Dispute Windows

  • Digital & Subscriptions: 30-day window from final staged payout release.
  • Equipment & Gear Rental: 48 hours after owner confirms return.
  • Group & Community Buys: 7 days after group buy completion.
  • Gift Cards & Vouchers: 48 hours from code reveal.
  • Services & Experiences: 48 hours after delivery confirmation.
  • Memberships & Access: 30-day staged payout window.

11. Notice & takedown procedure

If you believe any listing or content:

  • infringes intellectual property rights;
  • violates applicable law; or
  • breaches these Terms,

please contact: admin@savekarr.com.

Your notice should include:

  • your contact details;
  • proof of rights or authority;
  • URL or identifier of the content;
  • explanation of the alleged violation;
  • requested action;
  • good-faith statement regarding accuracy.

SaveKarr may remove or restrict content pending review.

Repeat infringers or abusive users may be suspended permanently.

12. Intellectual property

The SaveKarr platform, brand identity, UI/UX elements, software, codebase, graphics, and original content belong to Shree Origin Ventures.

Users retain ownership of the content they upload.

By posting content, users grant SaveKarr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:

  • host;
  • display;
  • moderate;
  • distribute;
  • cache; and
  • process such content for platform operations and safety purposes.

13. Suspension & termination

SaveKarr may suspend or terminate access for:

  • Terms violations;
  • fraud risk;
  • abusive conduct;
  • chargeback abuse;
  • illegal activity;
  • platform manipulation;
  • repeated complaints.

Suspension may occur with or without prior notice where necessary for safety or legal compliance.

Users may stop using the platform at any time.

14. Disclaimers

SaveKarr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaveKarr disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • merchantability;
  • fitness for a particular purpose;
  • availability;
  • accuracy;
  • uninterrupted access; and
  • security.

SaveKarr does not guarantee:

  • legality of every listing;
  • provider approval of every arrangement;
  • uninterrupted third-party services;
  • success of transactions between users.

All interactions between hosts and members occur at their own risk.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shree Origin Ventures and SaveKarr shall not be liable for:

  • indirect damages;
  • loss of profits;
  • account bans by third-party providers;
  • data loss;
  • service interruptions;
  • goodwill loss;
  • consequential damages.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the platform fees paid directly to SaveKarr by the affected user during the 12 months preceding the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shree Origin Ventures, SaveKarr, its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or legal expenses arising from:

  • your use of the platform;
  • your listings;
  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your violation of third-party rights or laws.

17. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable dispute-resolution procedures, courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or use of SaveKarr.

18. Dispute resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through:

  1. SaveKarr's internal dispute process; and
  2. written negotiation for at least 30 days.

Nothing prevents SaveKarr from seeking urgent legal or injunctive relief where necessary.

19. Changes to these Terms

SaveKarr may update these Terms periodically.

Material changes may be communicated through:

  • in-app notices;
  • email; or
  • platform announcements.

Continued use of SaveKarr after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
