Verification Policy

The 4-step ladder

  1. Email verified — automatic via a one-time link.
  2. Phone verified — OTP-based; required for higher trust badges.
  3. PAN verified — submit a PAN that matches our format (AAAAA9999A) along with your legal name. SaveKarr admins manually review within 1–2 business days.
  4. Trusted Seller badge — granted by SaveKarr admins after consistent activity, ratings, and a clean record.

When verification is required

  • Email + phone verification are required to open a dispute or contact admins.
  • PAN verification is required for hosts with cumulative payouts above ₹10,000.
  • Trusted Seller is optional but highly visible to members and improves conversion.

How we store verification data

PAN and other verification artifacts are stored encrypted at rest and accessed only by SaveKarr admins reviewing your application. We never display PAN numbers to other users, hosts, or members.
